I have visited 238 sectors according to my player profile, and I have seen others say that x3AP has just that many sectors to visit for the achievement, but the achievement is still greyed out. Am I missing something?
Edit: I have not modded my game.

You need 239 out of a possible 240 (the 240 includes the nominal UFJD and new plot/player sectors) in X3AP 3.x version. You also have to have physically visited each of those 239 and not have just bought sector info from mapping sellers.

Thanks for the information. My 238 includes the new player/plot sectors (hub and breaking grounds plots), so off I go. I have no idea which sector it is that I haven't yet personally visited, but I must be close. I have been systematically revisiting everything. Glad it's not bugged from something I did.
Eightbal1 just wondering have you visted Sectors like "Vestibule of Creation,or Duke's Citadel, by chance there difficult too find those gates.
