funds from station to player vice versa

As far I understand station withdraws from the player's account to a certain degree and when the station account exceeds a certain sum it transfers to the player's account. there is no way to change that. am I right? Thanks, game version 6.20

No, I don't think statiom ever automatically withdraws from the player account. But it will automatically transfer to the player account under certain circumstances.

How do you know your HQ is withdrawing automatically? Are you sure it is not an autotrader?

No automatic player -> station, AFAIK.

IME, whenever player changes the amount that station has credits -- whether it is "Accept estimate" or set explicit amount -- that new amount becomes treshold (T). After that, when station account reaches about 1.5*T, it will transfer 0.5*T to player account. (In earlier game version the numbers were 3*T and 2*T, respectively.)
