There are a number of official (i.e. provided and supported by Egosoft) and unofficial (provided and supported by the modding community) tools for modding X Rebirth available.
The official tools are listed in the X Rebirth Tools topic in the X Rebirth Scripts and Modding forum. There you also find short explanations about each tool as well as links to further documentations, if available. Please note, that more tools and tutorials will be released over time.
The unofficial tools can be found in the X Rebirth Tools, Tutorials and Resources topic in the X Rebirth Scripts and Modding Forum too. They are made by members of the modding community and thus not supported by Egosoft.
