| Well, I've captured a few ships and now it's time to upgrade. What should I buy? |

This is very much a personal choice. There are many ships each with pros and cons.
- M4: There are a few good M4s but the one that stands out for capturing has to be the Pirate Bayamon. Firstly the ship is free and can easily be captured by a M5 with a reasonable pilot. It can mount 4 lasers including the Alpha PSG and Ion Disrupter which makes for a great capturing ship and alternatively a pretty lethal one.
- M3: This is more difficult. Each ship has merits although the favorite is probably the Nova.
