So you have a death wish do you? The same rules apply. You have to get the hull below 87% and you have to get the shields down.
  • The best way to achieve this in an M5 is to use missiles. For example the wasp missile does 5MW of shield damage per hit. Fire 11 in quick succession and you'll be able to take down 50MW shields like those on the Orinoco and enough hull damage to capture it. Then get in with the lasers and try and do more damage to the hull. If the shields get up use another missile to get them back down.

  • The other tactic is a sneaky one. Get the M3 to hit you and then provided you are friends with a nearby factory you can request assistance. Alternatively attack it and then run to a station and fly close enough that it accidentally hits the station instead of you. This will cause the factory defence to launch. Let them get on with it and hopefully the factories defenders will be able to take its shields down. This is when you need to be close by. If its shields drop or are very close to it, hit it hard and fast. Stay alert and if you hear it firing and it's not in sight, get out of the way or it will be another reload!

  • Get a better ship!
