Great comments, guys. I may complain sometimes and criticise X4, but it's only to help what makes something great, even better. We are actually lucky to have quality games and gameplay like this as the new ones that come out aren't getting better.

Xenon don't seem easier to me. Heck, one just knocked me outta Travelmode (that's not happened before) when I thought I was well away. But maybe I'm jus not that skilled.

And it is annoying as HELL that we can hear them pilots cry that they get hit, DUH! Enemies should not be heard, period! Yea, you should not be able to hear enemies, but what they could do is have a `change frequency` type-button or some kind of futuristic hack, so you can tune in to what the enemy...

Oh, one other thing. In the same Save I have a captured Xenon B which I have set to Repair (you can see it smoking below my position). It won't repair for some reason. I know it could be due to a lack of supplies, but its been a while now. Neither can I cancel. Maybe I am misunderstanding something.

You both make good points. I won't disagree with either. Knocking out the processor would cause the ship to power down. Every player has his/her own ideas to maintain immersion. The Xenon definitely could install an electric chair in the cockpit. That's pretty devious and typifies Xenon traits. Yea...

Socratatus is absolutely correct in pointing out the dubious construct of Xenon ships, it is truly immersion killing. And why would a Xenon even surrender? I dunno if I want to wait another 6 years from release, starting all over again, while the game slooowly gets better... Do you know all the things that have happened in that time? We almost didn't make it!

No such thing as idiot-proof. Closest to that if you had a guy arrive at the buyer's home for each purchase of the product and guide the User through X4 for a couple of hours, like an IT guy that arrives and puts your pc togther for an extra $80. And even then someone would still not get it.

This kind of complaint used to have me so confused in the early days. It was often used in Flight sim forums, civilian or military by some. Some guys would get really mad that he couldn't see clearly enough out the window. Devs of those games would spend years, `clearing it up`, then adding it back,...

If you can see the NPC from the cockpit of the PE that means that it can not take a "straight" route to the PE's Airlock because of it's position. You should be above the NPC (not able to see it) and a bit passed it so it can "see" your airlock. I suggest you go for a spacewalk from the PE and retu...

Update:

Saw I had another ship at Argon Prime. It's also a xenon, but an `F`, not the insect-looking PEs. I sent that and it miraculously went straight to and picked up the floater npc.

Maybe it's just the pe Xenon ships that are the issue?
