LV, Are you familliar with the AS.Guard script that adam00 wrote in X2? It does much the same thing that your script does, but he came up with a "tender" vessel that would buy energy as needed to resupply the guard ships. AS.Guard misbehaving - solution found

So I think I found a solution to my problem. WARNING - I am a true novice scripter - follow my example at your own risk!! It appears to be a problem in the AS.Guard.find.fuel.seller.xml script.
