Re: [#660][6.0 beta 2] Player ship no collision

Quick edit: I meant non-projectile entities such as containers and deployables.

Re: [6.0 beta 2] Player ship no collision

Please add details to the reports. Any player ships has no collision or just with specific ships? How can we reproduce the issue? Ideally add a save where this can be looked into. MFG Ketraar It's specifically any ship the player is able to control, only occurs if the player is onboard but not pilo...

[Feedback] With the new tech, can we have an increase in max LOD range please?

As the title really. I am aware balancing LOD is a tricky task, but there are times where it feels just a bit too close for comfort. There are a number of ships (the builders come to mind) where the LOD leads to some odd model popping while reasonably close to the player. This mostly effects M+ ship...

Is ship size relevant for the issue?
I have noticed this issue and it appears not. However I can reproduce it by refitting a Dragon in any split warf or equipment dock while onboard, whether or not I am the pilot directly.

Re: Microsoft Excel: The Game

"Microsoft Excel: The Game" is what Eve Online is being referred to, according to IGN.com. Why are the X games not called that way?... I haven't read the IGN review, but, I can't imagine it was meant as a compliment. I have read the review, but it is not in there. Without a direct link to the artic...

FALSE-- you will die only if your shields arent strong enough to survive the atmosphere, and u arent fast enough to fly through it.... and the Betty isnt saying Warning: atmosphere, but she says: Danger, entering atmosphere.. the valhalla M0 with speed 1500 metres per second can easly get through t...

I usually put 10 or so in a ring facing the gate, 2-3km off. Any ships coming out have to fly through this ring.

To be honest the Terran sectors are just a couple food fabs away from stability. When you can eventually buy the stations, GOD soon fills in the blanks once you throw in a couple - spread throughout Terran space, ofcourse. The sectors are so big and Terran traders slow enough that dumping a bunch of...

Playing the races 'role' is quite limiting. There are plenty of examples in the X universe that different from the 'norm'. Boron marines are a great example! If you are going vanilla, playing as a die hard 'Terran' is quite hard, especially since you have to complete 2/3 of the game to get access t...

I'm being a racist Terran.

One thing I always try at least once in X games is to roleplay whatever start I have literally. For example the Boron start in Reunion I rarely fought, in the Outlaw start I caused all out war everybody (using friendly pirates script) etc, while using only my racial ships (or in the case of the seco...

And yet with 4 and even 8 core processors cheaply available it is frustrating that few games companies take advantage of that extra horsepower. Remember that a lot of engines, including X3's, were developed in the most part before they were so common ;) @OP, what's your CPU? X3 is heavily CPU depen...

This is specifically about the first point. It is important you have a cargohold life support. You have to first get 200 units of Teladianium and bring it to the Argon base in M148. Once you have done this you have to wait for the Terran pilot you're with to dock. After she has docked (you do not ha...

Sounds a lot like a stray shot or three hit a station.

Not sure what scripts you are running but with RRF you can pay to have the stations revert back to neutral (per station).

You can also occasionally find people who will reset them for you for a fee in vanilla under the light bulb station icons.

Wish it was, considering I was in a TP =/

EDIT: A restart fixed it =/ Must have been a fluke of the script or something.
