Getting back to X3 after a long absence. I bought TC and have acquired enough to start a Sector Trader, so I get him outfitted in Empires Edge and issue the command. I don't see anywhere to give him seed money, though - is it necessary, or does he use my general pool of credits?

In the manual (p.13) it suggests the controller buttons can be re-mapped just like the keyboard keys. How is this done? I can reassign commands to keys in profiles with no problem but cannot see how to do teh same with controller buttons. I have a Saitek USB Gold stick that I am trying to work with ...
