1) For sector defense, its good to use a centaur over an osprey IMO, due to higher cost of osprey. OOS all that matters is speed the ship gets there, and the laser power of the ship with all the lasers loaded on. 2) I don't use Wingmen.. /shrug 3) For a personal ship an Osprey lays down the law. :) ...

Probably but its VERY easy to put a dolphin or demeter in there and just transfer into those ships at any time.

Only other way you could possible lose a corvette is if you were in zone during fighting.. They do a lot better OOS
