Many thanks for the clarification, much appreciated. It's a small shame that a TS must have an MDS for Prospector to break up debris for collection, as the vanilla mobile mining command is quite happy to use a PAC on the TS.

Does this work on a TS with a PAC equipping instead of the MDS? From what I can tell by reading the OP and the rest of the thread, Prospector doesn't work without the MDS. I was hoping I would be able to use this for crushing and collecting 'debris' (the rocks that can't have a mine placed on them) ...

Too complex Building a station would involve building a structure unit in space, which would be just as complex as building a single station is now. But not when they impede the gameplay. I'd rather be playing X3 with a nice 60 FPS using X2's graphics than playing X3 with a horrid 10 FPS using X3's graphics...

No, no X2 did that quite well; in fact from some peoples stories X3 is better in that respect, but I'll have to see for myself.

1024x768, Shaders on Low, Textures on Medium, AA off, AF off, and it's tolerable (20-40 FPS) in sparse sectors.

Just bought a Mercury, decide to change to it, and then transfer some equipment from the Buster. It launched the Mercury for me.
