Germany delivers second Patriot system to Ukraine in new aid package Berlin has delivered another Patriot air defense system to Ukraine, along with additional Patriot surface-to-air missiles, the German government announced on Dec. 14. The announcement coincides with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Z...

Re: Drone miners not offloading?
I should have said that this Cormorant isn't the original one that I bought but one that I built after reverse-engineering, the mining drones which I built more of were temporarily housed in another M7D before being transferred back when the ship had been rebuilt.

Re: Your preferred ships and why
All bombers are insta dead when in Laser Range no matter the shields, so the defining values are: Cargo + Speed. With a carrier only Cargo pays off, get a Marlin. Marlin it is  If I get 4 Owls I can have a pair for each missile- one docked in the Kyoto to supply the bombers, the other dock...

Re: Your preferred ships and why
I went up against a Xenon battlegroup that had been terrorising PTNI HQ Beta, from the timers it was clear they'd been at this for days. Because the sector had no jump gates I had to fly my M6 over there manually and deploy a jump beacon to get the Valhalla to jump in, then use my M6 as a tug to tr...

Re: Your preferred ships and why
Would it be weird if I called my brand new Valhalla once it's complete, Galactica? Or maybe Pegasus? Just askin... Edit*** Ok, one final thing about a ship for me and I put it to bed. Why in the world would you create a ship like the Valhalla, make it look cool, give it great gun potential, t...

Drone miners not offloading?
I've got a Teladi Cormorant carrying out drone mining in Seizewell because of all the rocks there set to "mobile mining with drones". The drones do that, only instead of dropping off their silicon/ore in the Cormorant once they are full, they just dock and do nothing. I have to manually transfer the...

Re: Is it possible to seize 9 HSAPs?
Well this happen only for player settled sectors (they really check for stations) and the Xenon use jumpdrives, thats why betas of rapid response systems are good and systems with more than some distance are premium. Akelas beacon is not that good because OTAS has no Rapid response or local patrols...

Re: Is it possible to seize 9 HSAPs?
Dark Water beta seems to be the gem in the collection, as the Xenon will completely ignore it. Anything <10 jumps from 472, 023, sanctuary of darkness gets invasions iff you leave the game running alone. Sonofabitch! SoD on the other hand, is the one where Xenon fleets spawn right by the gate...

Re: Is it possible to seize 9 HSAPs?
Thanks for the tip, I managed to claim 8/9 sectors. Rolled back to the save where OTAS hadn't seized the sector, chose Unclaimed beta instead to activate and got a free TOA in it. Next I activated the Akeela's Beacon HSAP and was free to claim it. Did your Akeela's beacon beta have good roids? Mine...

Re: Complex Help - Using multiple TLs
It's a known bug with the FBC forge, I had that happen when I built a complex containing one. The huge weapon plex created a pancake stack of 28 SPP XLs a thousand kilometres from the rest of the complex, and from that ran another thousand-kilometre tube with the FBC forge on the end of it. That TL...

Re: Complex Help - Using multiple TLs
How long did the Kyoto and Tokyo take to build? Must have been several hours at least  I still have my captured Kyoto, and sent my Tyr for Reverse Engineering, it's at the back of the queue. Currently in the process is the Odin, not planning on making one I just want the BPs  Did a couple ...

Re: Complex Help - Using multiple TLs
I was always under the impression that you couldn't use more than one TL to do it, but because I only ever used the complex deployment tool for that task I've never had to. I don't know if the software can be used to automate station upgrades, I've had to do each one individually. I would have the s...

Re: Ships not attacking while in sector
Funny enough, I just completed a Paranid assassination mission against the ATF. The target was in a Tyr  (other options were either an Aegir or a Kyoto), and wasn't escorted by anything bigger than an M3. As boarding operations go it was a piece of cake, uniquely the Pteranodon could do very co...

Re: Israel War
At this point the question is, how long will Israel spend bombing the Gaza Strip before sending in the ground troops?
First objective will be securing the southern end that borders Egypt so that the strip is completely encircled.

Re: Ships not attacking while in sector
I'd used the all-seeing eye to collect 3 special discoveries before that, have to see what spawns in their place or whether that Valhalla is as fast and agile as it's going to get. I did find out that I can use an M6 to tow it around at 80m/s, I was already using a Hyperion to enter a sector ahead ...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War
Mud is going to be not much of a problem - it limits movement, but these days - 800m a day is a lightning advance. Ukraine had nearly perfect weather conditions for 4 months and they managed to push like what, 10 km, if we're generous. Try to say mud is not a problem, when you're in crap weather, s...
