Well,

I have been running SETI on 3 comps for just coming up to a year now.

However my electric bill has gone up by about £80 a quarter, so its goodbye to 24/7 seti.

Just thought I would let you know, for when you see my drop in RAC.

Went awau for a week and other half decided to turn comps off.

Trouble is one of them wont come back on!

I have just detached from predictor. What with that and World of Warcraft the Seti Rac has taken a real hammering.

A few Pirate Wu's about last night, but I didnt get any.

i gave up with seti when i thought i was probably more of a burdon than a help... took 50 hours per unit for my pc yet x2 runs okay :) When you have Seti set to run only as screensaver, yes it takes ages per WU. Set it low now, that way you wont get that many WU's to get through.

I've had to start running Einstein. Is there any way to set things up so that it only downloads a WU if there is nothing else available? Not that I know of. The thing to do is set the time for the other project very low(Preferances), that way you should only download a few WU's. HTH :D :idea: :idea:

Chech out a thing called a "Reserator" at Overclockers or tekheads.

Quite fancy one myself.

Managed to download 3 new WU's so far.

Had a few pirate WU's, but now crunching Predictor.
