Re: DLC route very bad indeed.

Just play the base game dude. Speaking of greed, what does it say about the person who wants 5 years of game development, with extra ships, faction, storyline etc, without paying extra for all that extra development? It wasn't free in terms of developer time you know to make all this. I did, i also...

DLC route very bad indeed.

Held off getting X4 till just recently and I think the X genre has just gone bad. I'd like to know, other than greed, why the universe was chopped up into DLC's? They didn't really add anything other than the races that were missing in the base. The game should have come with a full universe, then f...

Re: repeatable source for focus crystals

Max of 30 Focus Crystals and 30 Quantum Computers in the game, no chance for more unless someone mods them in.

Re: No fusion beam cannon forge in Shipyards

If we're lucky, maybe one of the devs will write a small official script to destroy and then recreate the station with all it's wares.

If not lucky then the only way is as suggested or by going modified.
I don't currently have a ship capable of destroying a station fast enough to try it.

Re: Automated Claiming of Ships and Piracy Command Software

From what I remember I used a player script here: viewtopic.php?f=94&t=221059 it will work in fl, if installing it don't let it overwrite other scripts.

you have to deploy your own via a TL. the plot ones dont count
Ahhh, ok then,,,I restarted with 1.2 and had the offer from 1.1 without building my own. Been flying around for days looking for that offer that won't come because I didn't build one of my own yet

Thanks Cycrow.

Have you built your first TOA yet and got 750k discovery points ?
If I have completed the hub plot does the initial TOA in the plot to connect the Void and paranid sectors count as a TOA built or do I need to build my own TOA after that plot in order to be offered the mission for Terran plot?

Re: Whole Paranid fleet idling in my sector ...

From what I remember from ages back, if the jobs file was altered to redo some things and you used it mid game some ships just forgot what they were doing...If you started a new game there was no issue with static ships. It's one of those funny things with modding X3's job file I discovered way back...

Re: 150 hours, FUBAR Noteriety System, Goodbye, Good Luck

How are agents got again...oh yes...limited missions that immediately lower half the universe to enemy...not ideal at all. The missions are not limited. The chance to be offered an agent scales to how many you currently own. It is ideal to spend them as soon as possible so that you can easily acqui...

Re: 150 hours, FUBAR Noteriety System, Goodbye, Good Luck

Any side can get access to all the stations, you just have to steal the blueprints and build them at your HQ. The Argon side is also missing some stations to buy that are on the Spilt/Paranid side. The 5 and 25mj shield factories cant be bought from Argon/Boron, and the Beam weapon factories are on...

Re: Special discoveries + discoveries + lfl problem

Make it more interesting to look for respawns if more rare things were added to the crates, like things you can't buy in the normal universe, possible adding in the odd unfocused crystals, quantum processors, blueprints and ultra rare things. DEVs have already stated that the cap on UC & QP is deli...

Re: Special discoveries + discoveries + lfl problem

I would even be ok with the LFL not posing a direction, just flagging that something *IS* in the sector, until you get closer where it will then point. That sounds reasonable I agree with this as a really good implementation...a notification when you enter a system to say something is detected but ...

Special discoveries + discoveries + lfl problem

The lfl doesn't cover the entire sector in detection range and it really should...let me explain. I used an old TC script that semi worked in FL to detect all crates in the x universe to see where everything was and then visited those sectors. The spawning range on some of the discoveries and specia...

I have seen some moving into the next sector but so far i have not seen them anywhere else. May be that i just didnt see them anywhere else yet though. After that Kha'ak sector shows up does this mean the kha'ak will start spawning all over the universe or are they a force that just sits in that sector?

Re: Mobile mining base ship oddness

The best option for the price is Ozias because it can dock only TS/TP but for like 20M credits only instead of 100+Mio Have the Ozias already, I was hoping one TL could dock all ships types to make it a mobile base. It was while infoing the TL's I noticed the Mobile Mining Base Ship couldn't dock T...

Re: Mobile mining base ship oddness

Thanks for the replies folks.

Limits the type of Mobile Base Ship I can use down to the Kyoto (pricey but cheapest option) as that can dock all types.

Re: Mobile mining base ship oddness

You have a few fighters able to mine, drones too. Falcon miner, pirate Kea, Falcon Hauler are good mining ships if they have a homebase really close to unload, like a TL. But yeah if some of those supposed mobile mining big ships could allow a single TS at least to externally dock to allow transfer...

Mobile mining base ship oddness

Wouldn't it make sense to give it the ability to dock TS ships, the name itself implies it's for mining and afaik only some TS types can do that.

Was it an oversight or by intention?

Just curious.

This will give you 100km comm range, place the types folder into, Steam\steamapps\common\X3 Terran Conflict\addon2 100km comms Note: this is an uncompressed mod of the globals file and will be higher priority than any other globals file found in official game files or any other fake patch files ie #...
