Having only one ship is only good and justified if the plot of the game is AMAZING,because that's one of the main reason they decided to go this way. I think in my whole time of playing XTension onwards that I only ever flew 3 different ships (depending on the game being played at the time).... TL's when they were first introduced in XT, and then in future games I just picked a fighter and freighter combo and then just maxed them out as/when poss...

The Ice Collector ship here looks absolutely massive if we can make the assumption that the Albion Skunk will easily fit into the hangar bay and land next to the "trucks" (for want of a better word)

Squadren 42 will be their single player old Wing Commander Style player game. While Star Citizen will be the MP aspect that should allow us to run our own private servers if one does not want to join in the PU (persitant Univers).
