Its really tricky to transfer funds between Headquarters and players account. The problem is that when you homebase so many ships to HQ as they dock and undock your selection changes from your credits to ships. Two possible solutions to that scenario: 1.) Go to 'Owned Ships' page instead of 'Landed...

It doesn't "turn off" friendly fire like in.. say a shooter.
It just makes friendlies ignore the fact you just hurled a ball of superheated plasma at their stations/ships and don't try to kill you on sight just because a silly Discoverer ate a PPC to the face that wasn't even supposed to hit him ;)

This is a known issue - try disabling your antivirus/malware tool and export will take some mere seconds.

Edit:
Since you said there was no t file created at all:You need to download the export/import package separately in case you didn't do that.

bugs/issues/inconveniences

Some minor issues: Engaging Autopilot via Shift+A and "Collect Ware..." (single Ware) do not utilize autojump rules to get to the respective target. Collect Ware... also doesn't reduce speed to zero after the command is ended - although I'm not sure if that's intended or not. "Refuel completed" mess...

Just homebase them to the TL and give him a Transporter Device... ;)

Use Couriers to get the Minerals from the TL and Dock Agents to sell it off.

The more MDS they got, the faster they mine stuff.

If money is not (really) an issue, buy the M3 Miners because they wield the most MDS and have a TL follow them around to drop off harvested minerals.

You could use the 'jump out' trick on the station, although it would be gone then.
I haven't found a way to get rid of docked ships yet :(
