I just think you need to go to a different hairdresser, Tsar.

What? NO! Blasphemy! Tsar cannot go to a different hairdesser. This would mean MTV and the terrible children win

Among all this remember of course that MTVs target audience is teenagers the same age as the kids in the show. So these kids would watch the show and think "Damn those kids are cool".
As Stephen Colbert said "It warps the minds of our children and weakens the resolve of our allies!"

I've always thought it looked interesting, but it's just taken SOOooo damn long for them to finish development. Although I'm keen to find out what kind of things they've implemented to make the whole RTS/FPS thing flow properly. I know it can be fairly disjointed and the whole thing tends to fall ap...

Not a discussion on the difference between learning in the past and today. But you CANNOT COMPARE THEN TO NOW, other than to say they are completely different! If you went through high school or uni before 2000 you're going to have a completely different experience to kids in recent years and today....

My neighbors are idiots.. Look, it's not that my neighbors are stupid. It's that they're fracking flat-headed, googly-eyed, knuckle-dragging morons with not even the good sense that Mother Nature gave a toothbrush. Every damn night, every damn day, at all hours, these unibrow vacuum-headed rejects ...

That brings to mind a really interesting metaphor I once saw on Stargate. My memory is hazzy on the details because it's been so long since I watched Stargate. But basically there's a group of refugees from a highly evolved race of humans on Earth and before they leave Dr Jackson asks how they were ...

Morkonan you brilliant bastard :D This nonsense idea in which men are expected to apologize for women being crazy is frustrating as all Hell. I forced that ridiculous habit out of my girlfriend early on in our relationship by flipping the tables on her. When she got angry at me over some nonsense, t...

I just want to point out that as someone said above the camera is very light sensitive. I doubt it was even something like a transformer blowing. In my mind a very small but bright light source could have been what you see. Maybe a colour that the camera was very sensitive too. If any of you here ha...

I weep for humanity

Of the people that share this video. How many do you think know anything other than what this video tells them?

People need to stop trying to make themselves feel better by "spreading awareness" and expecting other people to go and fix these problems

Like a burglar breaking into a house then breaking his leg on a toy and suing the people who's house he broke in too and winning? Or a woman who sues McDonalds because they're coffee was hot? It seems to me a lot of these stupid things happen in America. It appears that people now use the law for pe...

I'm probably going to show the gaping hole in my mathematical knowledge by trying to sum that up by saying... So you can't reach the speed of light because you would need an infinite source of power, because the closer you get to the speed of light the more energy is required to continue speeding an...

In seriousness, though . . we're evolving more than you might realise, Blazer - genetic drift happens in all populations. We may not be able to recognise it (and of course, because it happens slowly - and it's only visible when looking at an entire population as a whole) but make no mistake, it's t...

The minecraft world was great. To think we can create a virtual world that if physical could occupy so much space!

Kind reminds me of the old saying, "Humanity is not just insignificant, it's inconsequential"

Humanity doesn't evolve to suit the environment. We change the environment to suit us.
That's how much we have evolved.
We can control our own development now.
But "morality" prevents it.

Privatized policing is a great idea. Cheaper means greater numbers, greater numbers means more coverage, more coverage means everyone is safer. Where I live, Blazer, you get bucketloads of redbacks. Funnel webs are around, but you seldom see them (they prefer to avoid going into houses). Another local (as in UK) rant: Digital Television. Reception is lousy, the set top boxes unreliable and for all the extra channels the amount of extra telly is not nearly as great as made out. The reception business is ridiculous. Any weather effect whatsoever and you have no telly. The old Analogu...
