Two pretty old things, but I enjoyed them nevertheless, but I think I may have been a little older than your son, maybe 4/5? can't remember off the top of my head. ADI - this was basically an educational package but I found this quite fun as it has some good games IIRC and also a very good attitude ...

I'd say I'm a mix between a Lurker and a Regular poster. I tend to Lurk for a week, or more precisely vacate the area, and then return. I often spend most of the time that I am here on the off topic board, occasionally drifting to the others, but most of the time I keep my eye on only a few topics a...

I'd say bad english become common. For example you aren't going to get out of a bed you aren't in so "get out of bed" could be the shortened form of "get out of your/my/whoever's bed". I know that that same arguement could be applied to showers/cars but I think the average person has only 1 car/show...

It was quite a while ago that I read it, but I have a fond memory of a book names "The Dark Evergence" or something like that, IIRC that was the second in a series, I'll see if I can find more info and post a link if nobody beats me to it. Doh! Just remembered, it was the third in the evergence ser...

Yep I totally agree, a teacher unable to handle a class should consider a different career. Back in high school I remember there were quite a few lessons we would mess around in but when we changed teachers(same group) you could've heard a pin drop on the carpet. I personally would hate to go bald, ...

I suppose you're probably right there, I almost always use the hangar defences when I'm playing as Advent. Besides their minor differences, and certain technological differences, I actually don't see much difference, but that could just be that in most of my games so far the main bulk of my fleet ha...

The dart needs to be fast enough to puncture and probably so that upon impact it's momentum change is negligable(you don't want the dart to knock over the animal :P). Actually you want its momentum change to be 100%, because if it ISN'T, the dart will keep going right through the animal! It has to ...

Hmmm well that's a bit deeper than I guessed it may have been, I'll still give it a go though. The dart needs to be fast enough to puncture and probably so that upon impact it's momentum change is negligable(you don't want the dart to knock over the animal :P). Have you been given any information as...

If it's streamlined and the horizontal movement is negligible then couldn't it be modelled like a particle on a smoothe flat plane? I know it's going all the way back to basics but it could work. I suppose seeing as it's uni stuff rather than A-level or GCSE stuff that that won't do but I guess it a...
