Beta 6 (Not sure if this was fixed for new starts and just persists on the older saves?): Axiom can be transferred to other ships. I don't have a problem with Xenon in-sector. Sure, late game they fall pretty easily to an Erlking or Asgard, but there are still some tense fights in early-mid game and it is easy to get swarmed. Having same problem - can't click on captain or console to take over without crouching. Have to use external view, radar, or hotkeys to target objects in space.

TLDR: Argon gamestart with no expansions enabled. I will admit, I was kinda shocked to see all 51 of my captured xenon ships without pilots on loading save. All of them were piloted by what I assumed was the remaining Xenon AI. It took a few minutes but all 51 accepted new captains without issue.

I have a similar problem in that my AA drops during game play... it's all nice and pretty at start but keeps getting worse and worse every time I jump through a gate. I highly recommend that you absolutely do not play X3! The fact is that once you figure it out, it is one of the most enjoyable, most addicting games I've ever found... it will steal hours of your life away.
