Re: Russia-Ukraine War

When will it end? Not arguing on the forum, but the war I mean. It doesn't look like Russia is going to back down any time soon and meanwhile Ukraine continues to get pounded to smithereens. The trough of weapons available from other countries has limits before those countries risk their own milita...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

It sure would be a shame if Ukraine actually had any agency in that decision, then. But thankfully, they're completely controlled by USA CIA puppets, so we're all good, negotiations can begin next week

Edit: yes I was being sarcastic.

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

Edit: One thing bizzare me - where are Russian reserves? They should be able to brin something after 2 months, even without general mobilization. Where are they? at Finland? They are ... in reserve. As absurd as it sounds, Russia considers itself to be "at peace", i.e. no martial law or anything, t...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

Let's say that by the end of the summer Ukraine has recovered most of the East and South, do you think they would try to take back Crimea? IMO, Crimea is waaaay to easy to defend for Russia, to be worth risking attrition by Ukraine. Hell, it will be extremely hard for Ukraine to pass Dnieper, if th...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

[...] so far it looks like current Russian regime doesn't have that much long left to live who will replace it remains to be seen, but Putin's Russia can't be self sufficient, it can't provide for people, it can't fix the economy, it can't direct money inward, it can only react with terror. And the...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

I can't find that story anywhere outside of Russian state controlled media and their source is a Russian general. Just food for thought but I am open to admit being wrong. (Especially, if fake, what would the benefit be of telling it?) And you won't find it. It's (your media) full of fake propagand...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

[...] If they're not doing it for fun, what are they doing it for? I'll take that one - terror bombing, bombing the enemy into submission and surrender by virtually saying "if you don't, we'll keep killing you and yours". Alternatively, their guided missiles are less accurate that they'd have us be...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

I see - pesky storms doing their thing with missile cruisers again. There is no escaping from nature. Just Neptune demanding tribute, the one that Russians failed to provide in sacrifices before the war, you see... :D Also, JSDD, for a bit of background on the Moskva - it was built in Mykolaiv (pre...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

You know, I don't think the Ukrainians care - after Bucha et al I certainly don't - whether the US military-industrial companies make money off of providing assistance. The main sticking point is that assistance is being provided when it is desperately needed, details can be sorted out later. Yes, i...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

The one benefit of making such an attack as a false flag operation - however illogical - would be to drum up support and propaganda to prepare the ground for a full mobilization of the Russian reserves, by making this an actual war since - in this version - Ukraine would be the one attacking a targe...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

It's going to be an interesting May parade on the Red Square, that's for sure... For now, it seems the EU is "complying" in that they're keeping up payments in Euro, which then get converted by Gazprom (or was it the Sberbank?) into roubles before being used for payment for the gas in question. Very...

cool ... so we just have to wait a little longer then russia will retreat (perhaps) are you serious? do you know that they have more tanks than the U.S. ? many of them are old (T-70), but i'd like to know what would happen if the russians send in some 3000 T-70 to kyiv or so ... Really, t...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

@JSDD Reasons for starting the war, really? Those? Alright, let's take them apart: 1. Russia already has a pretty significant border with NATO, especially maritime. Swallowing up Ukraine, as Putin said he wanted to in essence do (the aim was regime-change and integrating Ukraine into their 'Union St...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

[...] There are a few issues with this in my opinion. First is that the reason Poland is trading out those aircraft is that they are not very good or usable in modern combat to begin with. Russia has already lost a number of fighter jets of its own during the war, and these might be newer/better th...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War

Listening to and voiding excuses wouldn't have done anything - as is, the pretext is "genocide" and "nazis in power". Both patently untrue, both thoroughly painted as being true in Russian state media for years. No, this was going to happen unless "The West" let Putin take Ukraine, and even then I h...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War?

For the very same reasons Ukrainians wouldn't do it either, no matter how desperate - on sunday the wind is forecasted to change to the South. Irradiating your own capital is not sounds defense plan. I kinda suspect Kyev is going to be Russian territory (and everything south of it) part of new Russ...

Re: Russia-Ukraine War?

Wonder if Ukraine has any kind of biological MAD plan left over from the cold war era. Nope.... They gave up all their stuff to Russians in exchange of guaranties of respecting the sovereignty (Budapest Memorandum). Yep, and this is going to completely destroy any attempts at getting a deal of nucl...
