Re: Trump - Criminal Prosecution
In addition may I remind you both Obama and Hillary pocketed tens of millions, found guilty and received petty fines? Why they weren't put to prison? At least their cases were pretty clear. THEY PUT THE MONEY IN THEIR BANK ACCOUNTS. And paid NO tax. That sounds pretty serious. Can you cite any evid...

Re: Why doesn't shooting build storage give any rep loss?
I have never received a rep loss from blowing up build storage, are you lot sure about this? Collecting the crates? sure. Shooting the crates once they are released? (never tried) Probably. But attacking the storage arms so the crates get dropped, never. Shooting the build storage gives no rep loss...

Re: Why doesn't shooting build storage give any rep loss?
I was shooting the build storage for the Argon defense station, trying to stop them from building their admin module before the Boron built theirs. I had used several ships to help supply the Boron Defense Platform to try to get them started sooner, and I was shooting the build module for the Argon ...

Re: Why doesn't shooting build storage give any rep loss?
It does, just not a lot at a time. Find a faction you have only just made it into neutral with and see. Small changes are more apparent in the neutral range. I am doubtful of that. There would be a ticker notification if there was a rep loss, no matter how small. I'm +28 with Argon, and have been d...

It really ought to.

7.0 b7 issues with persistent messages in middle of screen
I keep getting message stuck in the middle of my screen saying stuff like "FGU-022 Magpie Vanguard Requesting Orders" for example. This clears up upon reloading, so I don't think a save game would help.

Re: [7.0 Beta 7] Escorts still lagging far behind leader, totally ineffective (Save)
I don't think the solution is to slow down the miner or whatever the lead ship is to the slowest ship in the fleet. My preferred solution would be that escorts simply are more effective at engaging their travel drives to catch up. Slowing down the lead ship will just lead to longer trades. Maybe hav...

I wonder how many people will change their votes based on this guilty verdict? 3? 4? Oh come on, I hate to see this discussion constantly drown in hyperbole and over the top statements.....we all know it is not going to be more than 2. I know not many will change their votes if they had been planni...

xenon turrets 8.9 km or even more You're using a mod, then; the Xenon L Graviton Turret only has a range of 5.2 km. no, iam not using any mod. but its strange because as soon as i enter the 8km range for a K , the K starts shooting at me The center of your ship may be 8 km from the center of the K,...

Re: Small torpedo launchers Mk1 vs Mk2
Ideally I think the Mk2 launchers should have a slightly faster reload time than Mk1 launchers. But on the topic of launchers, I think it is very strange that whether you have 6 Mk1 launchers or 1 Mk1 launcher, the max number of missiles is 20 (or 26 if all 6 launchers are Mk2). In my opinion, it wo...

Re: [FEEDBACK] Existential Crisis
At least on the Xenon side for the Crisis, my preference would be to simply turn the Xenon up to 11 using existing gameplay mechanics. What I mean by this is, increase the overall Xenon unit cap (maybe double it), decrease build costs and build times for Xenon ships and stations (maybe half the curr...

Sorry for the bump, but I think this issue got buried and forgotten, and want to make sure a dev sees it.

Re: Bug - Travel bug
Can you provide a save, so we can easily reproduce the issue? :) I've reported this issue before, in the following thread, with detailed instructions on how to reproduce and an attached save game. But really no save game is needed. All you need is an NPC piloted ship in travel drive. Quickly double...

Re: What is Egosoft's vision for X5?
I hope with the simulated economy, Egosoft takes it one step further than they have, with factions needing to manage credits like the player does, instead of unlimited credits like it has now. Factions could earn credits by taxing the planetary populations in owned sectors, or by selling excess ware...

Re: Israel War
Israel walked right into Hamas' trap. They have reacted exactly as Hamas wanted them to, with predictable consequences in terms of loss of international support for Israel. Had Israel taken the counterintuitive step of not seeking to retaliate and take revenge for the October 7th attacks by Hamas, t...

Re: 7.0 b3 very poor fps in northen part of Trinity Sanctum VII
Weird. It starts off with low FPS for me too, when loading the save, but when I flew off and came back, everything seemed normal. Does the issue still occur in the latest version normally? If it does, can you upload your DxDiag, and config.xml, so we can further pinpoint the issue? I have another s...

Re: Why even require a ship trader for wharfs and shipyards?
... But, more than once have I wondered why my shipyard was not producing anything, only to discover I had neglected to assign a ship trader.... Could it be this is the way to keep NPC's from buying ships at your shipyard? Don't assign a ship trader and the shipyard won't produce ships, unless you ...
