Re: Jukebox X1, Memory

I love that music too. I got XBTF after a recommendation off someone visiting a computer show. I liked the music that much I burnt the music tracks to a CD to play in the car CD player. :D I hope I didn't infringe any copyrights doing that.

Re: [XBTF] Xenon M2s

You can also use objects such as the xenon shipyard or gates. Like a matador with a bull, you wait and move out of the way at the last minute. The xenon M2 can't manoeuvrer quick enough to avoid it. Be careful if using gates though as they can get destroyed if you not careful. Asteroids could be use...

Actor, Leslie Phillips, dies aged 98. For many of the younger generation his voice is more recognisable than his image.

Thanks for the info. Mine is on 102.3.0. and I've just taken off the automatic update off for the moment. My folders seem ok on this version.

Re: Ladies and gentlemen, it's been an honour.

Very sad news, Paul. You have been a major part of this forum since I first joined and I have found your posts to be informative. Thanks for keeping us informed on your progress with this illness over the months. Like others, I was hoping there would be a positive outcome. The Colonel Ray Butts refe...

My Mother passed away on Monday, 25 she was 90 years young. While I know she was not a person of note, she still meant the world to me and I deeply miss her.

R.I.P. Mum.

Re: The Matrix Resurrections - A cautionary tale [Spoilers included!]

I loved the first film but wasn't that keen on the later films. I think I'll avoid this latest offering. Ironically I watched a gem of a film in the week on Prime called Cosmos. It was done on a shoestring budget but I thought it was excellent. :)

Re: Linux for gaming, is this a good time to jump the windows boat?

If you ask ten Linux users for a distribution recommendation you'll get about seventeen recommendations, so I hesitate to add another, but: I use Ubuntu LTS releases on all of my systems at this point. I prefer Linux Mint with the Cinnamon desktop myself--it's based on Ubuntu so updates at about th...

Re: Factory waste in X-BTF

The last time I played XBTF I noticed that solar power plants in XBTF do continue to use crystals even after the factory is full. I'm not sure if it's a lower rate or not though. Earlier in the game and f I was in the sector, I used to remove some of the energy cells so as to not waste the crystals....

Re: Death Music Title

It comes up as 00013.dat in the original game files. If you change the dat extension to mp3 (copy it first to a different location), it will play out of the game.

Re: Playing other games

I haven't bothered getting the DLC as yet because I'm not a fan of the FPS aspect of it. I will wait to see how it improves the graphics of planets, etc before making a decision but I don't think I will bother. I Like I've said in a previous thread, I think they are trying to woo a younger audience ...

Again at the risk of annoying the mods, ( sorry alan, honest. :) ) also at the sort of suggestion of Gavrushka, I thought I would restart this thread from quite a while ago. Was it really so long ago? My doesn't time fly when you are having fun? Well as you are the original poster and the thread is...
