Wow. Very good tips and points, thanks. Some of these could be a game breaker for me.
I am like started-ish, but its just discovering the game and experimenting yet. If i start for good i will implement some of the advice like making the start a bit more difficult with mods, and the hq thing.

Well, yeah. Apparently i should go ahead with the playthrough from what your feedback...
My only hesitation at this point is that the progression may be too fast as some say. Should this be a concern? I dont like endless grind but i dont prefer too fast progression either.

Racism is racism. If the mod was named differently one could defend it. But it is named 'space JUSTICE' and it only removes blacks from the game. It was due to x3 editor saving the pbd file with .txt extension. I corrected it and now model loads, allowed docking of m6+, allowed docking of a TS (superfreighter) with it, accepted a khaak fighter into its internal bay.
