Indeed, the Wingman AI program you refer to (OODA loop) is "The OODA (observe, orient, decide, act) loop was developed by military strategist and United States Air Force Colonel John Boyd." Today during the game a message appeared saying the mission was completed (something like that).
Bearing in mind:
1. I did not participate myself.
2. I think it was a freighter of mine...

It definitely is a bug. When I was docking at the construction site, on the lower left-hand corner of my display where mission information and messages are, the needed cells were just over 2000. Yes, the e-cell requirement can be very quick to disappear in that mission because they are so common and available and so soon reserved for NPC deliveries. The other ware requirements usually hang around a bit more but remember that you are competing in real game time with NPC deliveries and reser...

My first attempt was to send a cargo ship with energy cells ordering "trade to build storage". Nothing.

In previous versions, there was an option to save the game compressed or not, now in the new version, it seems to be "disappeared". In other words, I can't find it.

The auto traders I am losing in the xenon sectors are not the Mining ones.
These ships never cross these sectors.
All ships are set to auto-jumping.
Vanilla restrictions are applied.
