OK, I fiddled around wit the file and I made a few other less significant changes while I was there. They all worked. The sheilds didn't. Which file do I have to open? I can't find the data. I've heard a lot about tships.whatever, but I don't have this file! For a stock/vanilla X3 game check in the 05.cat file. The jittery ship issue for me at least affects some ships but not all. And it was present before the Exodus mod. It's really bad if you eject and watch the astronaut at full speed.

Don't know what it is but I really doubt it has anything to do with the new ships. Graphics engine quirk maybe?

kryptyk... well the xenon hate the EFS fleet :) dont forget to use the locate commando and let it fly to the ships.. dont claim it, until you get the message such and such ship has been located. Use the commando until you get that message, then claim the ship. That frees the flag for the next ship....

@Andras Tested the models yesterday. If it's your intent to let players use the Genesis and Claymore as personal ships then you might want to take a look a the docking bay. If someone thinks that Ion D's are useless then change them.


The tools exist to do this easily. X2 was a great game to modify. X3 even more so.
