is it normal when i assign a trader to my factory and tell him to trade for the builder storage, that he ignores wares i prduce myself ? this trader never uses or buy the hullparts and claytronics from my factory.. he instead flys arround trying to get them from AI factions. only with repeat orders...

You could set up a remote mining station (dock + solid storage, assign miner and set a buy order for ice) and use mining ships as auto-traders to transfer the ice. It's a nice logistical solution to the problem.

Is it me or the Kha'ak are now much more dangerous for your mining ships? I stopped buying M miners a long while ago, because my economy allowed for it, and it solved the issue for a while, as L miners usually tank the harrasment without problem. From the ship info panel, you can fire the dude without taking to him, then take his place. At least, it worked for me at least once.
