Another tip is to drop a few drones at get them to do the dirty work ... some even survive the explosion ? ... i guess it must be luck and the speed they travel.

Or just use the like "sphere" map ... so that the cardinal point is at the top of the sphere .. EG ... if the N is at the top of the sphere that means you are moving in a norhterly direction .. and sooner or later you should find the gate.

I'm running NVIDIA FX5200 128 which is low range and the game run's smooth as a baby's bottom @ 1024 x 768 ( i'd like to crank higher but fx5200 is not a high performance card ) ... only on p4 1.7 and 386 ram too ... sometimes though on clustered systems with 2 or 3 khaak clusters the game churns at...

Not sure if it's just my personal experience .. but the NOVA's just seem to be harder to fight ( from a Bayamon i'm sure ... ) I can usually handle a gunfight for a while and it's to and frow ... when their shields go down i flip to the IRE's and lay a few shots as the book would suggest. Yup .. sounds familiar .. that used to happen to me to .. but not i cycle through 3 saved games , all about 30 mins appart . I've actually disconnected the save game as saving every 10 minutes is too much and i was crashing a few too many times.
