If you want a decent name for the pilot start the sector trader off in an Argon sector. Then stop it & send it to Empire's Edge, or where you want to trane it. This will give your pilot an Argon name, which, IMHO, is easier to remember. :wink:

The differences are the only the shields for TS class ships, for fighter it also means a difference in weaponary. :wink: You will also discover the there are different class', You can have the normal class ships then Vanguard, Sentinel & Raider. (Not sure of the order) each is different in cargo spa...

I'm afraid not. That use of the jumpdrive is only used by UTs in the AIs controll. You could tell them yourself but, as you say, it's hard to fight & watch over your fleet.

If you intend on going into battle against other cap ships the M2 is best, But if you are going to clear a Xenon sector, or simular, a M1 with 20 or so Nova Raiders is my choice. But I would have at least 1 M2 for enemy cap ships!

If you want lots of space for storage aswell I would go for a TL. But I wouldn't put it up against M1s or M2s! If you can hold off buy a M2 or M1 later but if you do get a TL it will also save you money when deploying facts! (Sorry about the pun :oops: ) Hope that helps ? For advice on Cap Ships try...
