Why build an AGP version of the 8800 series.

I'm running a FX7950GT in my AGP mobo with a 3.2Gig P4 and the bottleneck isn't the gfx card. There will be limited benefit sticking an uber card into an aging system

I run the same card and it killed my 350W PSU. Running under load it would go blank screen and needed a software reinstall to sort out. Didn't happen all the time, but when I installed a couple of extra fans cos I thought it was overheating the PSU went pop. I installed a 600W PSU and all is fine no...

To be honest it doesn't matter what you ride, life is better on two wheels :D BMWs have a bit of a pipe and slippers rep, but that is no bad thing as a first bike. Is the 7800 PCI-E or AGP?

There are a few options for PCI-E including fan free coolers.

But they don't fit the AGP versions
