I love the creative solution to the Boron in a water suit issue. So much eye candy.
Me too!

I can't get the Argonopedia site to open today but in 2017 I made a note that it stated they wear water-filled, anti-grav environment suits "if they are outside their element".

Re: X4: Kingdom End - Egosoft reveals the Boron reunion

Worst decision (though probably easier to animate?) was giving the Boron suits only two arms?? And on the side of their head? I hope this is still WIP and can be brought in line with the concept art/timeline images for the final release. We might be looking at robotics arms, like we use on the side...

Please find the attached save where this can be observed.

It's a new "Accomplished Scientist" start so the file is small enough :P

Re: [5.10 HF3] Scrap Cube in Avarice 5 has a visible recycling symbol before being located

This can be observed in the following save. I saved the game with the map matching #3 below so the steps might not be needed. Steps to see the errant Scrap Cubes: 1. Centre the Map on Windfall IV Aurora's Dream. 2. Zoom in until station names appear. 3. Zoom in one more level (as defined by mouse wh...

[5.10 HF3] BUG - Kromancketslat monologue cut short (longer than time available)

After we first meet Kromancketslat at the Derelict Station in Lasting Vengeance, we following him into Cardinal's Redress. While Kromancketslat is flying within Cardinal's Redress towards a Defence Station, Dal Busta starts a conversation with Kromancketslat. In my game Kromancketslat arrives at the...

Thanks so much for sharing this.

Back when I was playing The Outer Worlds I would joke to myself " ♫It's not the best choice...It's Hatikvah's Choice!♫".

With this new information, I take it back :D

Thanks for the feedback.

Please can you share a link to an unmodified save where Devs can observe and investigate this?

Re: Are guided missile worthwhile

Yeah that lock range has always really annoyed me about them. So much of their potential is wasted. I know they're not going to really hit out to the max range they can technically fly but the lock isn't even close to that IIRC. I'm not convinced [yet] that this is a bad thing for guided missiles. ...

[5.10 HF3] BUG - Station's Transporters will not move player between two 1M6S docks - WAI

In the following save the player is on a station with two "1M6S Standard Docks". The station Transporter's will not activate when trying to use them to move between the docks. The station Transporter's will move the player between the two "Traders' Corner" at the docks. Maybe the Transporter is unab...

[#155][5.10 HF3] Captain moving to Leader through unknown sectors instead of Escort order route - Fix in a future build.

Background info: 1. Playership (Squad Leader) is in Gaian Prophecy (2 km from gate to Segaris). 2. Segaris has not been entered/discovered yet so not visible on the map. 3. Player-owned Dragon (Squad Member) is in Antigone Memorial. 4. Within Antigone Memorial, the Segaris gate has not been discover...

[5.10 HF3] Minor bug when selecting and de-selecting normal/Super Highway exits via the HUD

If you left-click on a Super Highway exit, it will change colour and be the playership's target (WAI). If you then de-select it by mouse-clicking in empty space, the exit icon is replaced by the targetting box for an L combat ship (big). This is reversible by re-clicking on the exit icon, and then a...

Re: Pathing bug when marking a superhighway as destination for Guidance

The attached images illustrate the issue. In the first you can see the yellow ring denoting that player Guidance has been set to a Guiding Star VII station. In the second you can see that the yellow ring is not around the Super Highway exit in Guiding Star VII. The left HUD monitor shows that it is ...

[#163][5.10 HF3] Scrap Cube in Avarice 5 has a visible recycling symbol before being located

The attached image was taken after entering the system for the first time. I had not done a Long Range Scan yet. Mouse-cursoring over the icon reveals "Unknown Object" text below it. When I got within gravadar range, it turned out to be a Scrap Cube. I don't know if this is intended map behaviour or...

[5.10 HF3] Woodworm Scrubs under Fog Of War labelled as such instead of "Unknown Station"

As per the title, the Woodworm Scrubs station name is not obscured by Fog Of War.

Screenshot Attached. I rotated my may view around to check that the station was definitely within the FoW hexagon.

Re: Quick question about turrets

"Attack Capitals" will ensure turrets only fire on hostile Capital Ships or Stations. The other turret commands are more specific (e.g. Defend will only fire back at ships that hit the ship). So yep, "Attack Capitals" is great for Large Gun turrets. I would recomend "Attack All Enemies" for Medium T...
