I miss the ships that aren't designed for head-on attacks; most of them have frontal assault capabilities except for the "Raptor" and Supply Ships... It's true that in the latest DLCs, we see more ships designed like that, but it would be fun to see ships with strong lateral and rear attacks. In my opinion, it should be the Teladi and the Boron, as they are more peaceful factions not so focused on warfare.
Teladi pirates disagree with you, assault ships fit's best for their business. :pirat:

Egosoft. Thanks for your work.
With unique companies it became more atmospheric for the races.
All that remains is to make all the rooms unique for the races.
It is also necessary to add a choice of global room design.
For example, so that when playing Argon you can have the Teladi design on your stations.

And then there will be a direct fire in terms of visual immersion.

It is also necessary that the port models be unique for all races.
Including production models.

Yes, the Xenon H is one of them. The other two are the Xenon B and the Xenon F.

H drone carrier/battleship/multi role ship??? Universal cargo??? Drops an item needed in your player inventory (not at your hq or another pilots inventory) to start Xenon research.

SE the regular bug looking miner

PE the regular bug looking fighter

B flat looking fighter

F fighter

They are easy enough to farm and some weaker player gate camps might end up getting quite a few of them bailing out of sector. They work well as swarms and need no crew/pilots.

You're right, the Teladi do have rear defenses, although they are quite weak. I'd like to see more ships with their main firepower focused on side or rear batteries

Funny bug.
On Yaki's quest, the office is in the Paranid style and Shinamon is stuck.
Accordingly, there is nothing wrong with him and the quest does not continue.

As per the very first post in this thread, issues with the public beta should be posted in the Public Beta Feedback forum. If you take a quick look there, you will see that the issue you mentioned has already been reported a number of times.

Excuse me for asking the worst question, but is there any ETA on how far this is from full release?

I'm just getting to the point in my new playthrough where I'm having a lot of capital ship combat and all the mentions I've seen regarding improved cap ships in the notes has me itching for it. Kinda want to hold off playing until its out.

Our private beta program, for releases such as new games and expansions which do not have a public beta, is generally by invitation only. If you are interested in getting involved with that, then the best way to get our attention is by testing the public beta and providing good quality reports. :)

I agree too - frontal assulat ships are for the war races, most ships should be oriented for defence. Hopefully to make boarding a bit more interesting.

As an aside I just watched a video about capping friendly ships without rep loss. if you find a L/XL ship that has taken a battering from, say, xenon (and there's plenty of places that happens), then you can launch marines at it and they will cap it. As long as you do not shoot the ship you will not suffer rep loss. I think boarding should only happen if shields are down - like in X3 where you had to keep shields below 10%, that needs to come back. And TBH, with the ease of shooting off turrets, I think turrets should also be protected by the main shield as well. Or something similar that makes the whole process much more exciting, like it was in X3.

We've rolled out a hotfix to Beta 4. There were reports that Dal Busta wouldn't stay silent in some circumstances, thus we've applied duct tape to his whistler.

Hmm, fingers crossed there are plans to finally resolve Dal being stuck in a stations internal storage soon.

I haven't been able to progress onto Terran Missions beyond Reen Omara's Going Clean mission for about 2 years now.
(And have seen this bug mentioned about three years ago, prior to me being badly affected by it).

I know it has a bug reference number, and hate to be a pest, but a mission blocker not resolved for 2 years feels like its been forgotten.
