Wayward Scion start

It doesn't seem like it warrants a new game start for me, but I think it's a good start for beginners, because it starts you off in Hatikvah's Choice III and immediately points you to towards the Hatikvah plot. Kind of like Young Gun, but more guided towards the main storyline.

As explained by nister on the discord/subreddit:
This is intended to be a *bit* more friendly to new users, without requiring a DLC. It basically just starts the HAT mission immediately just so new players aren't left directionless and totally in at the deep end with something like Young Gun.
So you pretty much nailed it.

In terms of economic advantage, there's no real leg up except starting in a Nova instead if an Elite. But I did notice that I had the venture module connection blueprints.

[Edit: Looks like you do get a bomb launcher and 5 bombs so that helps. No lodestone though.]
