[6.20] Map filter and part of the graphics settings dont save

The map filter keeps resetting to one i used about a year ago and in graphics settings atleast the display mode and anti-aliasing settings keeps resetting (i also tested changing v-sync and shadow settings and weirdly those dont reset).
I tried disabling steam cloud, checked if the files in my documents are read-only (they arent), tried deleting the files in my documents and letting them regenerate (the new files had the same issue and uidata didnt even regenerate), and lastly tried reinstalling the game which also didnt work.

Version 6.20 (511811) Language English
Game modified (using mods) but reproduceable in vanilla
Game start being played: any
Problem and and occurrence: Specified settings reset on game restart
Significant changes: i think it worked fine before buying the boron dlc but not entirely certain

Please provide the information requested in the very first thread in the forum, entitled "Technical Support Requests - Please read this before posting!". Without this, the chances of us being able to help you are greatly reduced.

It does sound like you're having Steam Cloud issues, but without more information about the exact folders you're checking, again, we can't really help.
