[7.0 beta 5] Litany of Fury Expanding Red Sphere Not Showing

When Litany of Fury's star brightened, it used to cast out an expanding red sphere. That sphere doesn't seem to happen in Beta 7.

I switched anti-aliasing off, but it didn't bring back the sphere.

Hmph - the red around the station could be mistaken for the sphere. Here's another shot - less symmetry, more practical:
