[7.0 Beta 2] No "Load" option? Moving to single save? - now back in top level of main menu

The "Load" menu option is gone on both the main menu and the in game options. Is the game moving to single save (like the online save)?

Could you maybe add an option to the game that allows you to have the load savegame on the main page instead of clicking through the play open universe menu in the Game Settings?

I know you guys love the most obscure and obtuse UI possible, but putting "load game" inside what is effectively a "start new game" option as most people would see it, is bad even by your standards

If you must have different menu items on that screen, then it really should be "play new game" at the top level with sub menus of "start new tutorial", "play timelines" or "play open universe" and another menu option of "load game" that again has sub menus of tutorial, timeline or universe. Same number of clicks, but siginficantly more obvious.

how many other games do you know that doesn't have "play new" and "load" on the top level menu? None? That means even if you think you need to divide your game type options up into 3, you still need to put new and load at the top level because that is where everyone expects them to be.

For my point of view, I had to google how to load a savegame for X4

The rude remarks are unnecessary. We've listened to the feedback and have put the Load Game option back in the top level of the menu.
