Don't think this belongs in the scripting forum, so I've moved it to the main one. Let me know if I'm wrong and I'll move it back. :)

1) While in space: Get out your ship (shift-e), target the other ship, fly to it and when within 50meters press shift-e.
While docked at same station as the destination ship: Move to the station menu, press X to change ship. Select it from the list.
With a transport device, in space: Move within 5km of destination ship. Target it and press I, (or select through sector map) press <PAGE DOWN> and choose "Transport Device".

2) No, but then there is no need. Press S, then C and order your own ship to dock, move to position (if Nav software is fitted) or follow (if Nav software is fitted). Press U at any time in flight to disengage.

Park both in the same station then then use x to change ship. Park both outside, then use Shift-E to eject from one get close to the other and use Shift-E to go inside. or use the transporter from the goner temple (Cloudbase south east) to transport to your other ship if within 5Km. Your need a transporter in your other ship to beam back again!!!

They don't exist, but you can order your ship to fly to another sector, and even dock at a station in another sector, using the methods described above

what you on about a transport only costs 10k for basic.

at the end of mission 2 you should have about 400k (not that you get much more after that) and thats with just doing the missions
