Hello people. Some of you might remember me being on these forums a long time ago, perhaps the mods, Abyss and CBJ, or Quattro or Omicron. Founder of the UNCC and all that jazz :D

Has been a while

"You last visited on Mon Aug 30, 2004 12:02 pm", especially since the UNCC, which was made on January 5th, 2004.

Heard some information about X3: Reunion that perked my interest. Just wanted to ask if they ever fixed that X2: The Threat cutout with the video camera on the advanced satellite. It would be so amazingly good if they did. :)

haha xenon_slayer, the advanced satellites were meant to have a video link you could use to view space traffic from sectors you were not currently in.

Omitted for performance reasons, but just wondering if they ever fixed it up to be useful again.

allo Acidic. Long time.

No, you can't view through an Adv. Sat. from another sector still, and frankly it'd murder your computer to try.

You can use them to get a live feed from within the sector though - just look at your sector map :)

  • Welcome back :)

    The Advanced satellites are aslo good for showing nebulae outlines on the sector map, useful when dropping stations.

haha now esd i remember. live feed within the sector map? nifty

btw, is 'ion'd'ing' using the ion disruptor or is it something else (saw it in another thread)

and did they ever fix up the economy so SPP's didnt reign supreme?

wb acidic, i just started playing X2 again as well lol, cant say i remember u but i didnt play that active a role in the forum during my time, more of a loiterer unfortunately, maybe things can change tho.
