Newbie script help PLZ

Hi i just bought x2 and ive tryed downloading a few scripts a put them into the scripts folder. Can anyone tell me how i access them as i have looked in all the menus i can in the game and cant find them. ive looked mainly on the console screen and there is nothing about scripts there or in any of the sub menus. I`ve tryed looking elsewhere in the forums for help but i cant seem to find the right info. Please can anyone help me. I love the game but am getting rapidly fustrated with it. :x :? :?:

Try reading the stickies at the top of this forum ;)
