Currently playing Fallout 4 for the first time and it's a typical Bethesda game: content as wide as an ocean and deep like a puddle. Don't expect an immersive RPG with good writing or you will be deeply disappointed.

So Fallout London is not going to be released on April 23rd, this is due to Bethesda's upcoming update for Fallout 4 on April 25th, I was looking forward to London too, not so much Bethesda's update as I have zero confidence in anything Bethesda does nowadays. The team behind Fallout London are not announcing any new release date as their release relies on other mods outside their control, mainly F4SE which is a must for most Fallout 4 mods so we must wait some more time for the Fallout London release, but it could happen at any time after April 25th. This also mean if you play Fallout 4, and you use mods for the game like most do, your game will probably not work after April 25th till some mods are updated or even if they are updated, and seeing as last week believe it or not it was one of the top-selling games, so there are more than a few people playing the game right now.

Playing Genesis: Alpha One and They Are Billions. Picked them both up cheaply on xbox. The first has you building a big factory ship to tinker with human genetics to seed the galaxy - lots of fun. TAB I have only just started - tower defence town building RTS. Frustrating, but I'm learning it. No tutorials or instructions.

So the fallout patch has landed on steam, and it's 14.5 GB in size so it is a pretty fairly substantial patch, remember this is Bethesda, so expect it to be a buggy mess and don't be surprised if it makes the game unplayable.

According to this video the patch benefits the console versions more than the PC's. I guess Bethesda expects the mod-community to make their game fun again as always.

I had been an avid (rabid? Hmm, no. Not rabid) fan of Cyberpunk 2077. Even during the early release bad old days I still had a love for it, despite the issues. Nailed down several of the endings over the year or so.

But then Baldur's Gate III came out of Alpha and released, so I took an immediate dive into that. Fantastic game and I am looking forward to being able to dedicate some time in the future solely to that game. But then Stanfield dropped and I was gifted and early access to it. Not going to lie. I really did enjoy the game. I love a good space opera. But despite going NG+1 with the game... I realized that all I was doing was simply grinding and repeating. Which tends to be the case of all current Beth open world titles. Big areas, shallow content. So, basically burnt out on the Bethesda open world formula and needing a change.

Back to Cyberpunk. Update 2.0+ and the DLC gave me a game that was in some ways, fundamentally different. And way, way more challenging. So I dove headfirst back into Cyberpunk. But despite the refresh, It was still hitting the "been there, done that" box with me after my first (mostly complete) play through. So I started chasing the romance arcs, just to get them out of the way. And got bored again.

So now here i am at X4 which has been lurking on my wish list for a few years now, to be honest. But then, me being me. I.E. mercurial AF, I have decided to dive back into the beginnings of the X universe. Plan is to speed run the early games so I can hopefully get a handle on the lore of this universe.

And here I am. Gearing up for another dive into the X universe.

For the record, it's also half price on both Steam and GOG at the moment.

If anyone is interested, F4SE has been updated, you can get it on nexus mods. So now the Fallout London folk can get their mod up, running and released now as that was what they were waiting for.

Okay my bad, I can't get it to work, so I don't know what is going on right now. :(

The page you linked shows this message in bold letters:
All native code plugins (.dlls) need to be updated by their creators for 1.10.980.
Old native code plugins not loading is not a problem with F4SE.

1.10.980 itself is pretty unstable, so expect crashes that aren't F4SE's fault.
So I guess we shouldn't expect Fallout London so soon...

Been playing Freespace 2 again, not played it in ages. Using the Knossos.NET mod manager, and the game plays smoothly. (You do need a retail version of the game, steam or gog or the disks if you got them) plenty of mods for the game, and a few total conversions. Been playing the FS1 port with mediaVP packs, the game looks stunning. Still not that great in dogfighting, but slowly getting better. 8)

Loved the game back in the day, so nice to get back into it, and a lot of progress has been made on the engine and such what.

Many time's when I played Freespace 1 and 2 I wanted to be a fleet commander who order ships and wings around.

Only once X4:Foundation appeared, my dreams finally came to reality - I can do the gate blockades like in Freespace node blockages, easily make fleets with fighter wings and order them around galaxy.
Both Xenons and Khaak give some Shivan vibes.
Borons give Vasudan vibes.
Argons are basically GTA.
Terrans are Earth Alliance from Inferno mod.

Having a Shivan like crisis in X4 would be awesome - that moment when you realise how outnumbered that mighty Colossus is... priceless atmosphere, yet only one way left: forward.

Helldivers 2 being delisted in some regions on steam due to a psn account being required. Some regions can't make psn accounts due to restrictions. Maybe these people might get refunds for the game?

Just completed the freespace 1 port, man, that was really enoyable, and some really tough missions. Playing Judas, that was a tricky mission, especailly if you wanted the medal, had to do it quite a few times, as if your not quick enough, you miss been able to scan the relevant ships and keeping out of the range of the sentry guns and patrols. And any missions that involve protecting escape pods, (nearly raged at the keyboard and my monitor for some of those  Still, overall, a nice port, and overall, fun. Now onto Silent threat reborn, FS1 expansion. So yeah, fun times, and great game overall!

I appear to be out on a limb here as I am splitting my play time between Soulmask and Bellwright. I know Donkey Crew (Bellwright) got bad press for Last Oasis but I really enjoyed Season 5 as a solo and flourished... No not as a Zero to Hero (explitive)... Soulmask could end up as one of my top 5 games ever... Incidentally the Paranid are the true rulers in X4...

Ark Ascended is on games pass, so been playing that. Turns out it's a direct port of the old game onto a new engine. That's pretty much it.

Doubt I'll be playing much longer, big feeling of deja vous everywhere I go.

I've mentioned this game before. Yesterday V-Rising had it's 1.0 release as it's been in EA for some time now, if you are into ARPG's then I highly recommend it. The game itself, you play a vampire running around killing humans, monster and animals you need to drink their blood to survive you also have to watch out for sunrise as the sun will kill you. You level up certain skills and get magic points from killing certain bosses. You craft your weapons and armour, while you build yourself a castle to live in. The game itself is played on a server with other people, friends or strangers, you can either use the game's own servers a private server you can even run it on a LAN or you can play it solo on your own computer. The good thing about running on a server is that you can change literally all aspects of the game from making combat easier or harder or even alter the length of night and day, I prefer a shorter day and longer night cycle and as I play it solo I also have the difficulty turned down though I think I may turn it up a bit. It's a most excellent game and highly recommended, plus you don't need a bank loan to buy it (currently £26.55) and none of the greedy AAA companies have anything to do with it.
