Buying games on-line.

Post by InvrSmall » Thu, 17. Jun 04, 23:50

There is so much choice that I'm lost as who to use to buy games online.

What sites do you all use ?
Extended Horizons. Adds 15 new sectors to explore and to make a home in for your empire. Works with your existing Game save and does not require a new start.
Wing combat commands: Attack Fighters and Attack Capships. Adds the two commands to the Wing Combat menu.

For comparison shopping, you can't beat www.Pricegrabber.com . Also, try www.newegg.com , www.bestbuy.com , and www.compusa.com .

www.gameplanet.co.nz

I highly recommend it to any kiwis, they accept direct credit, so you can do everything from your chair without a credit card. I've never had any problems with them, they are always friendly and helpful. =)

Usually I buy them straight from the publisher. Tried through a dutch company for a certain game, waited for 3 months before deciding they probably wouldn't receive (and thus send) it anytime soon.

At least the developers/publishers usually don't have stock problems, at least not for recent games :) (I think)

I don't know about games but amazon has much higher priced DVD's...only good for finding rare titles.

I like that ebgame gives you 2 day air for like 5 bucks.
