Advanced Jumpdrive
The advanced jumpdrive adds 2 things into the game.
1. The Advanced Jumpdrive and its exenstions, allows for energy free jumps
2. Advanced Jump Menu. More options for jumping, works with standard jump drive as well.
Installing
Addons
- Script Replacement Addon
These scripts override the built ones allowing the advanced jumpdrive to work for any jump command issued
SPK
Advance Jump Menu
- The Jump menu gives you more options when jumping, works with both the Advanced Jumpdrive, and the Standard Jumpdrive, so you get all your jump controls in a single menu.
The menu can be opened by both the ships command console, and via a hotkey for easy access.
The menu includes lots of jump options, including:
- Jump To Sector (Advanced Jumpdrive jumps to sector center, standard will jump to a gate in the sector
- Jump To Gateless Sector (Lists all available gateless sectors in a seperate list)
- Jump To Me (Jumps to the players ship)
- Jump To Gate
- Jump to Station (Jump and dock at station)
- Jump to Postion (Jumps and flys to a sector position)
- Jump to Beacon (If you have any jump beacons, you can get a list to jump too, works with standard jumpdrive to Terran sectors
- FTL Sector Jump (Jumps to a position in the sector)
The menu also offers several shortcuts, like you last jump, so you can jump another ship to the same place, as well as the nearest shipyard and equipment dock
Advanced Jumpdrive
- The main device, offers Energy free jumps to anywhere in the universe, including terran sectors.
Jumpdrive Energy Generator
- This is a cheap version, uses with the normal jumpdrive to give energy free jumps for the standard jumpdrive.
Uses your shield and laser energy for the jump, the full Advanced Jumpdrive doesn't.
FTL Jumpdrive Extension
- This exepensive add on requires the Advanced Jumpdrive, and gives an in sector FTL jump to jump anywhere in sector. It connects to the existing jump commands so it'll be used to jump closer to a given target.
Advanced Jumpdrive Accelerator
- This addon for the Advanced Jumpdrive accelerates the jump procedure so it will no longer have to charge for 10 secons.
Auto Jump
- This command is available in your ships additional command slots. While its running, it'll monitor your ships destination, and use the advanced jumpdrive to jump there. Command is only available if you have the Advanced Jumpdrive installed, and must be set for any ships you wish to use it on

I've been waiting for this so long, that I think I was even waiting for it long before I was born. The single most important script for me back in x3r.

What about ships following or protecting the command given ship? Will they jump and follow automaticly? Will it be possible to make a guard for UTs?

like with X3R, i will make an addon that will intergrate the advanced jumpdrive into the ships normal command, so it can use it as well. But that will come after

Hello.
Shall I use the ware manager to make AJD available at certain stations ?
Or is it available to buy after installing ?

the ware manager just runs in the background, you dont need to do anything either it.
when you load your game, the scripts will use the ware manager to make it available automatically

no, it is not. I have checked all the Argon ED's ....
I have installed ware manager, EMP and AJD ...
other scripts are working well

Language is English.
Do I have to do some language corrections when using only english scripts ?
Those strange names of wares are shown only when I'm in the sihip in the ED. When I am not in ship the names are OK. Perhaps need some check.

same here... i have four blank wares appearing at Argon stations, each with 10000 quantity available. Shoud I uninstall / reinstall, what u think?

when you say blank, do u mean its just a blank entries, or does it say sosmething like, ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM
if its completly blank, then the problem is most likly u dont have EMP installed

I have EMP installed via SPK and its doing the same thing, just to let you know. Your scripts rule Cycrow, been using them for years!

i had the same problem after installing the 2.1 patch. The patch overrides the 08.dat and 08.cat file, which was the emp mod. So you have to reinstall emp and give it the next higher number. Be carefull not to overwrite the 08 files from the 2.1 patch with the plugin manager, thats what happend to me.
You can get the 08 files by reinstalling patch 2.1, if you broke them.
@ Cycrow, will you add the jump-light-effect to a future release?
