Graphical bug in Elite ship firing animation (probably easy to fix)

Basic info:

I bought the X3TC & X3AP bundle from steam earlier and just got around to installing it.

I started a new game with the argon patriot option where you start with the 'elite' ship. I notice the firing animation is bugged as follows.

When using the basic ship setup from the beginning of the game, particle accelerator cannon bay mounts and firing graphics do not match.

PAC mounted on bay 1 -> firing graphic is on bay 1
PAC mounted on bay 2 -> firing graphic is on bay 2
PAC mounted on bay 3 -> firing graphic is on bay 2
PAC mounted on bay 4 -> firing graphic is on bay 3

So bay 3 and bay 4 firing graphics are located one step to the left of where they should be. Bay 2 weapon location has 2 firing graphics on it from bay 2 & 3 weapons mounts, and the bay 4 weapon at the far right never lights up at all.

So bay 3 calls up bay 2 graphics.
Bay 4 calls up bay 3 graphics.
Bay 4 graphics do not get called at all.

EDIT 1:
Bay 5 and Bay 6 are bugged as well. The firing animation appears under the right wing for Bay 5 & 6 mounts, but the particle accelerator cannons are invisible. There is no weapon visible under the right wing at all when the particle accelerator cannons have been mounted for Bay 5 & 6 only.

Source: Steam X3AP 3.1 english from the summer sale budle
Game content is not modded
nvidia inspector used to apply AA.
Game start: Argon patriot, elite ship, with initial starting equipment, particle accelerator cannons.
No other symptoms so far. I don't know if other ships or weapons are affected by the bay misalignment bug.

I've more or less the same bug!
Weapon doesn't shoot or doesn't appear!

I use Ubuntu 14.04

Yes this is a known Elite ship model related issue as seen here. I therefore removed the OP's DxDiag to save thread space as it was not relevant this time.

but I didn't understood...
is there a way to fix the bug? Have someone remodelled the ship?

No, it is an old problem that has never been fixed - so far.

It *might* make any future X3 patch that could come along but nothing is known about that aspect so far.
