If you have a solar power plant and you want it to supply energy cells to, say, three other stations you own, then presently you have to have 3 transport ships, one for each station.
Usnig the SDS script, you can have 1 transport and it will be able to deliver to all three stations on a most needed first basis.
In other words, this script saves you having to get another 2 transports.
In addition (if the above wasnt worth it on its own) you can tell the SDS transport to get the goods from your station for 0 cost - this allows you to set up zero cost loops where none of the stations needs money.
Does that help?

..and if you put a non-signed script in place for only a moment, removing it when you think 'nah, don't want it', that's it, your game is 'modified' for ever, so you have to put up with it.

Not a big deal if you don't mind people doubting your screen shot when in fact you don't have any unsigned scripts running. My game shows modified because I activated the script editor in 1.3 to try out a simple script to decrease rudder tunings on M4 and M5 ships. It didn't work so I threw it out and and didn't try any others. My game still shows modifiled. I'm sure you can well imagine some of the comments that would be made if a screenie were to be posted showing that something can be done that others are doubtful of if the screenie shows "modified" in the corner.Constipated_Vigilante wrote:I don't see what the big deal is about the modified tag. It shows it in an unused portion of the screen in transparent, white, curvy print.
