Imperial Deathmatch Mission

Post by LV » Wed, 4. Aug 04, 15:35

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS SCRIPT IF YOU HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED THE IMPERIAL COMMAND CONSOLE

I've split this from my console as a separate mission

install

Code: Select all

just press extract and choose your main x2 folder
manual install

Code: Select all

445040 into t folder

init.imp.dmat/plugin.imp.rewards/plugin.dmat.sqm into your scripts folder

once installed the script will be called at a random time interval every time you load the game.

if you don't want to accept the mission then just ignore it :)

all other details will be given in mission or you will have to work out yourself

Remember Build Trade THINK!!

A small description

Deathmatch mission where you have to kill a series of ships

As the ships get harder the payout gets higher and if you could complete all of the mission the rewards will be massive

There are many rules that MUST be followed and they will be explained clearly within the mission

I've also made the scripts .pck files so they are not as easy to read. This mission is under an Imperial NDA which means if you decide to explain to the forum how it works by reading the code i will come round to your house and pull out your teeth with a pair of pliers :)

I'd like people to work it out while playing ;)

Download here

Enjoy :)

Oh one last thing. If you struggle with the AI normally in combat don't bother with this mission

I felt a great disturbance in the forum, Like millions of voices cried out in terror, then were silenced

Brilliant! At last im getting a kicking from M6s!
Hmm, out of interest, can you take a wing with you for the mission or would that disqualify you? Oh, and I noticed some of the pilot animations and voices were mixed up, dont know if thats linked to this script. Had a Boron saying 'Split now give you death!' which was pretty funny, i'll admit. I take it the mixed up pilots in the ships are to represent pirateyness?

Should have given up on level 1

Sounds need tweaking somewhat yet, minor bug, they should have a random pirate voice so it doesn't get as tedious

as far as wing help goes this is one of those things you'll have to work out ;)

Another quick question, which surely you can answer, when I complete a section and it gives an offer to leave, do I just jump out of the system? Or do I need to use the gate?

yes as long as the ship you are in is not in the sector when it offers you the chance to leave that's fine :)

I think egosoft should add to the download section that kind of development asap. Gratz LV

i not only hope this is made official but could be used as the basis to start the testing of X-online just basically you enter a classified battle eg m1 to m6 and just go for a slobberknocker with other ppl in one random sector

i would never be offline if this happened

Has anyone with a german version managed to get this script to run?
Normally changing the 44 both in the name and in the first few lines of the t-file to 49 would be enough, but as the file is packed, and I have no idea how to unpack it ... help :)
