Preordering of X2 is now possible
Hi guys,
as Darren has already posted X2 will be out in November and if you want to be among the first to own it you can now pre-order your copy from the our online shop.
I've just read that somebody posted ordering in our onlineshop was not easy / userfriendly? What exactly is it that made it hard to use?
Please explain and I'll try to make it easier.
Currently the only method of payment possible is PayPal (which means you have to use a credit card OR live in the US!). This also means if you order now you will also pay NOW!
Another important note: Make sure you select the right version. Don't want you guys to have to learn German
Thanks once again for all your great support.

Come on guys - you've been clamouring for this game for months, even years. Time to put your money where your mouth is - I've got my first 2 copies but have you???
Strung out on Britain's high, hitting an all time low
Well you could simply preorder it shortly before its released. that way you should receive it on release and have only paid for it a short while before.
Or wait until it hits the shops. Guess it doesn't really matter that much although buying direct from Egosoft will probably give them a larger cut of the profits (no middlemen!)

It's no scam, they don't have a secure server, so they can't take credit card orders directly. By using PayPal the money gets transferred instantly, there is simply no option to debit the account at the point of dispatch.kite wrote:Hhmm
I might be the only one but nobody is getting my money 4-5 months before I get the game. Seems like a bit of a scam by Egosoft.
Kite
I would order but
A) The online shop simply won't work for me (as soon as I hit order it goes straight back to the language selection page).
&
B) I am not sure where I will be in September.
it's too late now... but what they should have done is:
preorder before 20/5/2003 get 35% discount + t-shirt
preorder 4+ months ahead - 35% discount
3 months ahead - 20%
2 10%
1 5%
the coffers would have SWELLED....
i wonder how sales are already doing... how about an item in the press release, guys?
