Xtream Team Studios Shadow Scout to X2 New screens in-game

We have the plesure to show ouer new ship inn game.
Here are the first Pix to ouer new wourk the shadow Scout ship has just now been fhinished and exported into the game.

the mod may be redy for down load at ouer server in the neer future.
We havto deside if we are going to realise it singel or add all the shadow ships to gether.

o man, space will be dangerous again while ships like this one under control of your enemies :o :D

btw, which class and what specs will that hell of a ship have?

it is an M5 with 1- 25mw shield and one front mounted Alpha Cyon emitter
The next in line vill be an M3 with 1- 125mw shield and 1 beta Cyon emitter
and the Crab vill be an TL have 20 - 125mw and 1 front mouted turret with an Gamma Cyon emitter

Ps the emmiters will be seriusly upgraded to do an enormus amout of damage 8)
so if they se you you are alredy dead before you even know wath hit you.
The will newer stop they will newer give upp AND THEY NEWER MISS. :evil: :twisted:

No not at the present time we vil use the ones that allreddy are availebul.
We hafto take one step at the time for the moment we are consentrating to get the ship in the game and get it wourking withit out anny bugs.

Solarie - from the screenshots it looks like the X2 engine thinks it's a TL. Go HERE and download the XPatcher. This program can take the unpacked ".obj" files in the "L" directory and can add new ship slots and a bunch of other things. With this you can make a new slot for the "Shadow" ships and tell the engine the correct ship type. :D

If you need help with it just PM me and also tell me how you are testing the ship. (Are you putting all the new files in a Mod then running... are you running from files[not using the '.cat/.dat's]...etc.)

good tip .. just missing a link ..:P

anyway .. Deadly has added the max amount off newly available ship-slots to his Tships-file .. using his Tships and .obj-files might save you guys some time ..

Fixed >.<

It would be best if they did not copy Deadly's tships and obj files. It'll be easy anough to add new ones themselfs that it'll be more hassel to copy. You just take the tship file from 04.cat/dat and for each new ship you add with the XPatcher you put a new entry in the tship file with the ID SS_SH_000, starting from 0. Soo.... SS_SH_000, SS_SH_001, SS_SH_002, SS_SH_003... etc.

If you have ANY X2 modding ablity you can use this.

There's no need to worry about the ship reg at the moment as the screenshot was taken when it was first loaded into X2.

Things have changed since then. :wink:
Extended Horizons. Adds 15 new sectors to explore and to make a home in for your empire. Works with your existing Game save and does not require a new start.
Wing combat commands: Attack Fighters and Attack Capships. Adds the two commands to the Wing Combat menu.

Thanx to you all for your intrest and help there are inded more to come i have just fhinished the jumpgate like the ones in B5 and an Explorership the alexsander but it is also unsertant that we are going to use mine models Inperia Todd has also made the same so we will se waht we deside to use.
Pix will come hwen things move on so be on guard for more info.
I also working on an intro mowe to the mod :lol:

sounds like a nice mod lads.. I love B5 and have done for ages.... i've always wished for a freeform b5 universe and if u can get this mod together i'd play it without doubt :)

Now.. bet u guys looking forward to x3 so the REAL modding can begin :D

You mean Real Painfull modding. :shock: Look at how good those ships are, how are we suppost to make good mods that fit in with THOSE ships? :cry: Hopefully they give use modders better tools and more info for X3:R. :<

well the only thing is not to give upp and learn frome mistace and continiue to learn.
I belive i have newer heard annyone say that it is easy to learn modeling in 3ds max. keep practise and you vil get there. :lol:

Actualy the Download for the Shadow may be delayed a few days XTS has a new Intergrated Website and Forum underconstruciton and will be online soon with full donwloads the www.xtremeteamstudios.com url for some will work till there service provider are updated with the new settings.. sory for any delays :D
