| Can I use images, sounds and videos from X Series games? |

Images, videos, logos and names from our games are generally covered by the usual copyright rules, but we encourage and support fan-made videos of our games. Using images and sounds from our games for this purpose on platforms such as YouTube is allowed and supported by Egosoft for non-commercial purposes. If you want to monetise your videos, e.g by participating in the YouTube partner program, then we would ask you to inform us about your plans and the revenue you make with these videos on at least a yearly basis. We do not currently plan to take a share of your income, but we need to be informed about the revenue in case the business model changes in the future.
