      Description

You landed on this page because the game detected an error to start the game.

The issue seems to be caused by a 3rd-party DLL (bdcamvk64.dll) which apparently is part of the application: "Bandicam Screen Recorder".

Upgrade to Bandicam Screen Recorder 4.6.0 (or later)

A fix for this issue was released. Please make sure to run Bandicam 4.6.0 or later.

      Further support

If you are running Bandicam 4.6.0 (or later) or don't have Bandicam installed on your machine and still end up on this page, please send a mail to prioritysupport@egosoft.com with the subject set to: "X4-472 - Bandicam crash" for further troubleshooting.
      In the mail, please include:

      • the latest crashdump (see this page on how to locate the crashdump)
      • the version number of Bandicam Screen Recorder, which you have installed

Note on the fixed/affected version numbers

Since the crash is caused by a 3rd-party tool outside the game, it can trigger with any version of the game (therefore the affected version was set to 1.0 and the fixed version was left out).
The issue was reported to the support of Bandicam on 2020-06-10.
Initial feedback from Bandicam retrieved on 2020-06-11.
      Fixed version released on 2020-06-17.
