Solving the missing Vulkan runtime issue on Windows

Download and install the latest drivers available for your graphics card and do a clean reinstallation of these. If this doesn't work, please send a mail to prioritysupport@egosoft.com with the subject "Missing Vulkan runtime (Windows)" and we'll get back to you with further instructions.

Solving the missing Vulkan runtime issue on Linux

The exact steps to install Vulkan on your system differ based on the distribution which you are using. In some situations it suffices to (re)install your latest graphic card drivers. If that doesn't do the trick for you, you should check whether you need to install the Vulkan runtime explicitly on your system. In most cases this is done by installing the libvulkan1 package (on Debian/Ubuntu for NVidia graphics cards this is usually done by running sudo apt-get install libvulkan1).
This external page covers the steps to install the Vulkan runtime for several distributions and might be helpful to you.

If this doesn't work, please send a mail to prioritysupport@egosoft.com with the subject "Missing Vulkan runtime (Linux/GOG)" and we'll get back to you with further instructions.
