It's not easy to find game category that X fits into. Most important of all, X gives you the freedom to play the game in millions of different ways, yet it does have a storyline. X has a lot of fighting action, still we don't call it an action game. There are a some management skills required to do successful trading and to run your own factory, still we don't call it a trading simulation. And even though X does have a story, it is up to you if this story has an end and what kind of end that might be.
